Rose Bilal is a jazz vocalist, visual artist, actor, author and motivational speaker. For more than a decade Bilal has appeared at numerous jazz venues/concerts, corporate events, private parties, etc. as a solo performer and with jazz bands. Bilal often performs with world-renowned musician John Lamb, bassist with the Duke Ellington band, and has also had the privilege of appearing on stage with Trombonist, Slide Hampton, and Reed Player, Frank West. Her classical renditions are reminiscent of Sarah Vaughan, Ella fitzgerald, Carmen McRae, and other great jazz artists. Bilal recently returned from a tour in Europe where she performed her unique style of jazz to packed houses.

She is also the Director/Founder of Jazztorian, Inc, a Tampa based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering lives through jazz. Jazztorian's mission is to promote and preserve classic jazz as a rare and valuable American treasure. Throughout the 1960’s, Bilal, gigging as a rhythm & blues singer was the opener for some of the greats, The O’Jays, The Delphonics, Wilson Pickett, Chubby Checker, and Gladys Knight & The Pips. WOW!!! what a busy weekend. Beginning with my regular Thursday night gig at That's Amore on Harbour Island. Along with the regular crowd we shared a wonderful evening of jazz with lots of people in town for events happening at the St. Pete Times Forum. On Friday Dec 11th I was invited to provide live jazz music for the xmas networking celebration presented by AQT productions held at Teatro's fine dining restaurant and lounge. The event was attended by over 100 business professionals and jazz lovers. The food was absolutely delicious!!
The highlight of my weekend was my appearance on program at the magnificent Xmas brunch held at the Fort Harrison in Clearwater. The main stage ballroom looked spectacular enough to have been on the cover of Architectural design magazine. A great time was had by all in attendance. Don't forget to come and check me out at That's Amore on Thursday night from 7pm to 11pm.

Just wanted to tell you about the good time I had last night (Wed) at the Westshore Hotel. My good friend and Asst. Dir. Arbra Tawwab scheduled me to perform jazz at one of her networking events. Not only did I meet lots of great people I also got bookings for few gigs. Speaking of gigs, in addition to my regular Thurday night appearance at That's Amore on Harbour Island, I'll also be there on Saturday Dec. 5th from 8pm to 12am. The Sat. date is only for this
weekend. Hope to see you on one of those nights.
